Sr. Network Security Engineer / Consultant
The role of Sr. Network Security Engineer / Consultant within DTS Solution professional services team involves the management of complete post-sales project lifecycle for network and security solution projects. Design, audit, implementation, deployment, integration and ability to review network and security solutions for our clients are just some of the responsibilities of this role. Expected professional experience is 5+ years.
Our clients range from Government, Enterprise, Telecom Service Providers, Oil and Gas sectors, and being part of DTS you will be driven to engage, interact, learn and collaborate whilst being trained on solutions as per DTS requirements.
Following capabilities but not limited to:
Role and Responsibilities
- Expert understanding and experience in IPSec, SSL VPN, Sandboxing, Forward and Reverse Proxy, NAT, Syslog, DNS, NAC and Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure)
- Having broad knowledge of Data center Network topology and architecture, routing, switching, Routing protocols, MPLS, Load-balancer and SDN
- MANDATORY - Fortinet (min. NSE4), Palo Alto Networks (PCNSE) certifications
- Hands-on experience in Fortinet Firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiSIEM and FortiNAC
- Hands-on experience in Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama
- Hands-on experience in Cisco ASA, routers and switches
- Programming skills are considered as an advantage
- Independently work with customers to develop and understand requirements
- Prepare and deliver presentations to customers
- Experience in creating & preparing technical documentation HLD, LLD and migration documents related to projects
- Perform configuration assessment and hardening of firewalls, router and switches
- Analyze and troubleshoot security technologies hardware and software platforms
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to network and security devices
- Assist in the development of meaningful network metrics and performance baselines for customers
- Communicate with Security Architects and other members of the team
- Collaborate with team members in areas of expertise
- Translate customer requirements and quantify them to bring back to product management
- Must be comfortable and have a desire for hands-on work supporting customers during product demonstrations, training and PoC
- Willing to work after normal business hours as needed and travel to GCC region if required
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in network security related technologies
- Intermediate level security architecture experience and demonstrated ability to present network and security design to customers
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driving license
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
